Attio

Connect your Attio workspace and your Firestarter colleagues work from your real CRM: they read your people, companies, deals and lists, and write notes, tasks and deal updates back into Attio once you approve each change.

Overview

Firestarter gives a small business an AI commercial team: named colleagues who do the marketing and sales work. With Attio connected, Vera, who runs sales, answers from the records you actually have, checks where every deal sits in the pipeline, and writes the follow-up back into Attio: a note on the record, a task for the right workspace member, a deal moved to the next stage.

Nothing changes in your workspace without your approval. Every write is shown to you first, with the record, the fields and the values, and only happens when you approve it.

Connect Attio

You need a Firestarter organization (as an admin) and access to an Attio workspace.

  1. In Firestarter, open Settings → Integrations and find the Attio card.
  2. Click Connect with Attio. You are sent to Attio, where you pick the workspace and approve the permissions listed below.
  3. Attio returns you to Firestarter and the card shows Connected.
  4. Optionally click Test connection to see each permission the workspace granted.

You can also start from the Attio App Store: its Install link opens the same Integrations page in Firestarter.

One CRM per organization. If HubSpot, Zoho or a Firestarter CRM file is already connected, Firestarter asks you to disconnect it first, so your colleagues never have to guess which CRM holds the truth.

What Firestarter reads

Ask in plain language. Your colleague picks the right read, runs it against your Attio workspace at that moment and answers from the result, never from memory.

What Firestarter writes

Each of these needs your approval every time:

Before writing, Firestarter reads your workspace's own attribute definitions, so custom fields are filled with the right attribute and the right option, not guessed at.

Approving changes

When a colleague wants to change something in Attio, the conversation shows an approval card with exactly what will be written: the record, each field and its new value.

The permissions Attio grants are the ceiling, not the behaviour: Firestarter writes only what you approved.

Permissions

These are the Attio scopes Firestarter requests, and why. Nothing else is requested.

RecordsRead-writeReading people, companies and deals; creating and updating them after your approval.

Things to ask

Pipeline

"How is the pipeline looking this month, and which deals are stuck?"

Follow-up

"Log a note on Acme about today's call and create a task for Sam to send the proposal by Friday."

Deals

"Move the Acme deal to Proposal sent."

Lists

"Who is on my Q4 targets list, and which of them have no open deal?"

Good to know

Disconnect

In Firestarter, open Settings → Integrations and click Disconnect on the Attio card. The connection and its access token are deleted from Firestarter right away. You can also remove Firestarter from your workspace's connected apps in Attio, which revokes the token on Attio's side.

Your data
